First Nations data portal

• First Nations can now access their oil and gas information through our First Nations data portal.
• This access strengthens First Nation autonomy and self-determination by supporting informed land and resources planning and decisions.
• First Nation Chief and Council and/or the designated Oil and Gas Representative can now access information on:
  • rental and royalty amounts collected and payments over time
  • number of wells
  • number of contracts (agreements)
  • interactive map
• A signed Band Council Resolution with quorum is required to be submitted to IOGC at contactiogc@sac-isc.gc.ca

Electronic payments

• IOGC accepts electronic payments or electronic fund transfers (EFT).
• To pay by EFT, send an email to iogcfinance@sac-isc.gc.ca for instructions.
• Note: Payments by cheque can still be mailed or deposited in the secure mailbox to the right of IOGC's front entrance.

Petrinex

• Contract Holders and Royalty payors are required to submit their royalty information in Petrinex.
